Cary Animal Services announced on Apr. 27 that the Cary Dog Daze and Pet Expo will return to the Town Hall Campus on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is designed as a free, family-friendly gathering for pet owners and animal lovers in the community. Organizers say it aims to bring people together through a shared interest in animals and responsible pet care.
This year’s expo will feature more than 75 vendors related to pets, including rescue groups, veterinarians, trainers, groomers, and businesses selling pet supplies. The event will also include live agility demonstrations by skilled dogs, training sessions with expert tips for attendees, opportunities to meet adoptable animals from local rescue organizations, and a vendor village offering various products and services for pets. Food trucks catering both people and pets are scheduled as well.
The event is open to everyone—whether or not they own pets—and well-behaved dogs are encouraged to attend with their owners. The expo will take place in the back parking lot of Town Hall campus. Certain areas such as Ambassador Loop at Cary Street and Police Only Parking will be closed during the event; visitors are advised to use nearby parking decks while handicapped parking will be available on Cary Street off Ambassador Loop.
According to organizers, Cary Dog Daze has become an annual signature community event focused on connection and education about animal welfare issues. More information about updates can be found by following Cary Animal Services on social media.
