The Town of Cary announced on April 30 that May is being recognized as Bike Month, with a series of activities and events planned throughout the community.

Bike Month aims to encourage residents to explore Cary by bicycle, promote safe cycling habits, and bring the community together through shared rides and educational opportunities.

As part of the celebration, residents are invited to participate in Bike Bingo for a chance to win one of three bike safety bundles. The month will also feature community rides, Bike to School Day, and various other events designed for all ages. Details about these activities can be found by downloading a Bike Bingo card or viewing event listings at carync.gov/bikemonth.

The initiative reflects ongoing efforts by the Town of Cary to support active transportation options and foster safer streets for cyclists. Organizers hope that increased participation in biking will contribute positively to both individual well-being and broader community health.

Residents interested in joining the festivities or learning more about safe cycling practices are encouraged to visit the town’s website for additional information.
