Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Wednesday, March 26

On Wednesday, March 26, former Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Emory & Henry Wasps.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wasps this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Emory & Henry Wasps.
