On Saturday, April 26, former Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Emory & Henry Wasps.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Wasps this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Emory & Henry Wasps.
