On Saturday, May 10, former Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

It was the last Lenoir-Rhyne Bears’ game this season
